On the morning of February 26, 2023, more than 20 students from Zhouzhi Middle School came to our institute for a study visit under the leadership of Liu Yu, the director of the office. Assistant Deans Li Dong and Song Kun, teacher representatives Hu Liang and Ji Ruonan warmly received the Zhou Zhi Middle School study delegation.

At the beginning of the event, Li Dong, assistant dean, introduced the history of the college, discipline construction, talent training, undergraduate enrollment and other situations to the teachers and students of Zhouzhi Middle School.

Subsequently, Professor Hu Liang gave a popular science report entitled "Space Materials Science Lecture Hall: Drawing Dragons on the Ground, Touching the Eyes of Space" for the teachers and students. In the interactive session, teacher Hu Liang set up questions based on real life scenes, and the students spoke freely and expressed their opinions.

Finally, under the leadership of Hu Liang, Li Dong, Song Kun and Ji Ruonan, the research teachers and students visited Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Space Materials Science and Technology, Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Information Technology and Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Condensed Matter Structure and Properties.

This study activity enabled the students to increase their knowledge, broaden their horizons, promote their interest in physics, and further strengthen the close ties between the college and the secondary school. In the future, our institute will continue to carry out a series of activities with surrounding schools, continuously create a service circle conducive to the development of various research activities, and contribute to stimulating the vitality of local education.
