Shaanxi Physics Experiment Teaching Demonstration Center mainly covers four innovation bases: basic physics laboratory, design physics laboratory, modern physics laboratory, physics competition and innovation laboratory, applied physics professional laboratory, material physics professional laboratory, optical information technology laboratory and space material science, intelligent material science, low-dimensional materials and optoelectronic information science. The teaching area is about 4500m2, with more than 1800 sets of various instruments and equipment, and 12 sets of large-scale instruments and equipment. At present, 48 typical basic compulsory experiments, 100 physics demonstration experiments, more than 100 comprehensive, modern, design, and applied physics experiments and 40 cutting-edge innovative physics experiments can be opened. The center has 37 faculty members, including 9 professors, 14 associate professors, 4 senior engineers, 4 lecturers, 6 assistant professors and assistant researchers. The center undertakes more than 70,000 experimental teaching tasks every academic year, including the "University Physics Experiment (I, II, III, IV)", "Design Physics Experiment", "Open and Innovation Experiment (Competition Category)" public experiment course for more than 3,500 students in the first and second years of science and engineering, cultural management and English international classes, and the "University Physics Experiment (I, II, III, IV)", "Design Physics Experiment", "Open and Innovation Experiment (Competition Category)" public experiment courses for more than 3,500 students in the School of Physical Science and Technology, Postgraduate public experimental courses for doctoral students and other experimental courses.
